Employees and contractors gather for training
Several crew members gathered today for high-density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) fusion training.
Approximately 2 million feet of HDPE distribution pipe will be used in the Lake of the Ozarks project.
This piping is commonly used in natural gas lines in the United States and on high performance applications.
Fusing the pipes together is a common process and fairly simple. Once the process has been completed, the leak-free joint of the two pipes is stronger than the pipe itself.
